A little about me

Well here we are.
My name is Stu. I have decided to create this blog to let people know about my mundane life.
My goal is to put as much into this blog as possible, from arguements with the family to nice days out. I might even blog while I'm doing stuff.
Hopefully people will follow and enjoy it, or even laugh or cry at it.
Well I hope you all enjoy it anyway and if anyone has feedback or questions, please get in touch.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 41 years old and live in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. I have a Fiance and a young daughter and a cat and a lionhead houserabbit. Being a typical man, I like football ( Newcastle United of course and a small but famous non league team called Whitley Bay F.C ( http://www.whitleybayfc.com/ )). I also love watching touring cars, especially the BTCC ( British Touring Car Championship ).
I have just started my diet last week. Not only because I want to avoid diabetes, which affects several close family members, but also my back. You see, I have a prolapsed disk and I am in constant pain. Some days are bearable but others are agony, and it's these agonising days that are getting more and more frequent. I have been refused surgery as I have multiple level degragation in my disks so basically have to live with it. So hopefully when I lose weight I won't have so many back problems.
I am currently starting, slowly, to gather information to write my life story. May take years but it's something to pass onto my daughter, and her kids etc.
Diane is a mad as a hatter Geordie girl of 42. she is a devoted mum to our daughter and partner to me. Family is a major thing for Diane.
Every now and then she comes out and says something truely daft, like one morning, while looking at the sky she asked, are the sun and the moon the same thing?. The American comedian Bill Engvall would have a field day with her with his ' Theres your sign' routine. No doubt I will post them as they happen.
Anyway that's enough for now. I must go to bed before I fall asleep typing.
Take care

Stu
